We’re currently working with a renowned Top 10 accountancy practice in Reading to assist them in recruiting a Corporate Tax Director. This role has developed organically due to the firms’ growth this year and there is an expectation that the successful applicant will be able to develop to partnership at the firm in the short to medium term. Key responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the provision of planning and advisory work for clients
- Build and maintain good working relationships with clients and colleagues within the firm
- Assist in the allocation of compliance and other work to more junior members of staff, ensuring the effective deployment of staff
- Assist in generating business development ideas and concepts, particularly in areas of specialism
- Provide direction and support to junior members of staff in respect of all aspects of consultancy and compliance work
- Participate in the recruitment of new staff, appraisal and provision of feedback to existing staff
- Assist in marketing initiatives such as tendering to prospective clients
- Maintain awareness of UK taxation developments and other relevant taxation and accountancy developments
