Tax Industry Snapshot – 2021 Vacancy Analysis & Trends

We reviewed our data on live tax vacancies that have arisen across Commerce & Industry, Financial Services and Professional Services so far in 2021 in order to provide insights into the current market and identify up-to-date tax recruitment trends. We also analysed our archived vacancy data from January 2020 in order to evaluate how the market is performing against pre COVID-19 recruitment levels. Based on this analysis we have identified that the tax recruitment market is currently more active than pre-pandemic levels.

The below chart represents overall tax recruitment activity from January 2020 to date and clearly shows the surge in recruitment activity that we saw in January 2021 which has now levelled off slightly above pre-pandemic levels…
